Building a Daily Task Scheduler with AWS PartyRock

PartyRock is a platform by Amazon Bedrock that allows users to build simple apps using generative AI, eliminating the need for coding.

Steps:

1. Come up with a fun, simple idea to help with your tasks.

   (In this case, we’ll create a simple daily task planner, since I love organizing my day with all the activities and hobbies I need to tackle, without forgetting any.)

2. Go to PartyRock and create a free account (trial).

3. Click on any button, such as “Generate app” or “Make your first app.”

   (As you scroll, you’ll see various buttons inviting you to start building.)

4. Describe what you want your app to do. In this case, here is my prompt for inspiration:

“Based on a provided task list, create an optimized daily schedule. Consider task priority, estimated durations, and include appropriate breaks. Format the schedule with time slots and task descriptions. If no durations are provided, make reasonable estimates.”

5. Edit the widget and select Claude 3.5 Sonnet v2 as the model.

   (You can try others to compare the results.)

6. Add additional widgets, such as a motivational quote or a Schedule Assistant, to help users refine their schedule further.

7. Click Make public and share button in the top-right corner to publish your app.

8. Copy the link that appears and share it with the world!
